Transportation to Airport from Bangkok City Center

Don Mueang Intl. Airport

Thailand’s capital Bangkok is one of the most important tourist destinations in the Asian continent. The city, which hosted over 25 million tourists last year, has 2 airports. The Suvarnabhumi International Airport opened for international travel in 2006. The city’s first airport, Don Mueang International Airport, is a regional commuter flight hub and low-cost airline hub.

Suvarnabhumi International Airport handles the largest amount of international passengers entering the city, handling over 53 million passengers in 2012. Bangkok is a city with a population of 8 million. Like other South Asian countries, transportation within the city can be chaotic. However, transportation to and from the airport is extremely advanced and comfortable.

Rail

You can take buses 201 and 503 from the Royal Palace, National Museum, and Phara Nakhon, the historic city center, to Phaya Thai Station. From this station you can get to the airport in 17 minutes.

You can also get on the express line at Makkasan Station. Other lines take about 30 minutes to get to the airport.

Airport Services

There are vehicles that depart from Victory Monument, which is one of the busiest transportation hubs in the city, to the airport every 20 minutes. You can get to the airport using luxury minibuses or buses where you need to connect or transfer in between. Minibuses 550 and 551 will take you directly to the airport. The city of Bangkok experiences extremely hot temperatures and these vehicles were designed taking that fact into consideration. These vehicles are all air-conditioned, providing comfortable transportation for tourists.    

Personal Car

From the historic city center (Phara Nakhon) take the Nakhon Sawan or Lan Luang bridges and connect to the Sirat Expressway, which has a toll. From here you need to take Motorway 7, which connects directly to the airport. After reaching the airport you can park your vehicle in one of the three parking lots, which have a total car park capacity of 5 thousand vehicles.

Transportation to Agadir City Center from Airport

Agadir – Al Massira Airport

You can easily reach the center of Agadir from Agadir-Al Massira Airport by a taxi. If you require a means of transportation to accompany you throughout your entire trip, it is also possible to rent a car at the airport. There are no airport shuttle service offered, but you can reach until Agadir by transferring with public buses.

Taxi

You can reach the city center from Agadir-Al Massira Airport with a taxi in half an hour. You would need to pay on average 200 Moroccan Dirham.

Car Rental

Easycar and Europcar are offering car rental options at the airport.  You can reach the center of Agadir on average in 30-40 minutes by driving in the southeast direction on N1 or N10 highway.

Bus

There is a bus top on the main road at the exit of the arrival terminal at a walking distance. There is no direct line going to the center of Agadir. However, you can go to Inezgane by bus number 22 and transfer to lines 20, 24 and 28 to get to the center of Agadir.  While the ticket for the bus number 22 costs 4 Moroccan Dirham, it costs 3 Moroccan Dirham for lines 20, 24 and 28.
