The journey from Chania city centre to the airport takes around 30 minutes, but this can be reduced to 20 minutes depending on your choice of transport. Chania Airport has a post office and vehicles to help disabled passengers around the airport alongside standard airport features such as waiting areas, help desks, and luggage check-in. There are restaurants and cafes for any passengers who are hungry or thirsty. There are also small shops where you can buy newspapers and magazines, a VIP waiting lounge, and a bank.
