Taoyuan International Airport is located about 50 km west of central Taipei. Despite having a great metro system within the city there is no direct metro access to the airport. In terms of public transportation there are high-speed trains that provide transportation to the city center. However, the most preferred method of transportation to get to the city center from the airport is by shuttle service. There are many private companies that provide shuttle services to and from. For those who want a more convenient and private method of transportation consider taking a taxi or renting a car from the airport.

High-speed Train

There are shuttles that depart from the airport arrivals terminal every 10 minutes and provide transportation to the train station. To go to the city center you must take train THSR.
