You can come to Khabarovsk Novy Airport from the center by vehicles such as trolleybuses, buses, shuttles or taxis very easily. If you are going to travel from the center of Khabarovsk to the airport in the morning or at night, taxis can be your primary option. At other times, you can make use of the public transportation vehicles like buses and trolleybuses which are driven past the train station and many places in the center.

If you consider it as an alternative, you can also rent a car, however, rented cars are not preferred so much for the journeys between the center and the airport.

Bus 

It is possible to reach the airport from the city center of Khabarovsk by the buses which start service in the morning and continue till late hours in the evening. For this, you can catch one of the buses numbered 18 servicing between the southern region and the airport or take the buses numbered 35, which are driven past the train station and come to the airport. Bus tickets are very cheap in the city; however, you generally do not have the possibility of paying them in foreign currencies. You should have some local money with you in order to pay for the ticket before you take the bus.

Buses are quite ideal for the passengers who are traveling only with a backpack or a suitcase. Hence, you can carry your suitcases until the bus stop without any difficulty and take one of the buses heading towards Khabarovsk Airport. Taxis are much more ideal in a lot of terms for those who travel with a few suitcases and together with 3-4 people.

Taxi

You can reach Khabarovsk Novy Airport directly from many corners such as Village Matveevka, Lenin Road and River Station in the center by taking a taxi. Undoubtedly, the biggest advantage of coming to the airport by taxi is to be able to travel till the entrance of the airport terminal comfortably without the need to carry the suitcases until the bus stop. However, you should keep in mind that taxis are among the most expensive vehicle alternatives.

Trolleybus 

It is possible for you to come to the terminal of Khabarovsk Novy Airport by the trolleybuses, which are operated in the city. You can complete your journey to the airport very easily with the trolleybus 1 from Komsomolskaya Square, the trolleybus 2 from the train station and the trolleybus 4 from the shipyard.

Private Shuttle

You can get in contact with the private shuttles in Khabarovsk in order to be picked up from your hotel in the city center and travel directly to the airport without changing your means of transportation. Shuttle fares are generally similar to those of taxis. Airport Information 

From Khabarovsk Novy Airport, you can travel by a lot of different airlines such as Emirates, Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, Asiana Airlines and Japan Airlines. Although the airport terminal is not that large, it is big enough for the passengers. Furthermore, you can easily eat, drink and do shopping at the airport. When you need cash, you can withdraw money at the ATMs in the domestic and international terminals of the airport within a few minutes. Mothers who are traveling together with their children under the age of 7 can use the baby care room, which has a kitchen and a playground, free of cost. However, your boarding pass might be requested at the entrance. You should keep your boarding pass with you before using the room.

There is a Duty-Free shop in the international terminal of the airport. You can buy colorful chocolates, candies and various snacks from here and do shopping for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Eating and drinking areas  inside the terminal of the airport generally opens at 06.00 in the morning and offer the passengers different food and drinks until the evening hours. If you are going to arrive at the airport late at night and would like to eat or drink something, you can do shopping from the automatic machines. 

In addition to all these services at the airport, there is also a pharmacy where you can buy medicine, massage chairs to use for a little relaxation, a post office and a room to leave your luggage. 

Venice has two airports, "Marco Polo" and "Treviso", but a significant number of international flights, including flights from Istanbul, are landing at Marco Polo Airport.

From the airport to the city center you have many options such as train, bus, taxi, vaporetto, car rental and water taxi.

Bus

There are two options for transportation from the airport to the city: "ACTV" buses operated by municipality or privately operated "ATVO" buses.

ACTV buses operate from 4 am to midnight every day of the week, between Rome Square and the airport. The journey lasts 25 minutes. Tickets can be picked up from the vending machines at the airport terminals. ATVO buses also work on the same line as ACTV. The bus departing from the airport operated between 7.50 am and 11.50 pm. The duration of the journey is almost the same as ACTV. If you will be staying somewhere outside Venice city center, like Mestre, you can use other routes of ATVO and ACTV.

Vaporetto

It is very enjoyable to get to the Venetian islands from the airport with the small sea buses, which are called "Vaporetto", run by the company "Alilunga" because you will start living the Venetian atmosphere as soon as you enter the city. There are 3 separate lines - red, orange and blue; which one to choose depends on your destination. Therefore, it is advised for you to consult your hotel about which line to choose and which stop to get off before you arrival. The journey with these would not be very short. It depends on your destination, but it lasts more than 1 hour. You can get tickets from your arrival terminal. You can reach the pier of boats after a 10-minute walk from the terminal exit.

Train

While the most convenient way to get to the city center of Venice is by bus and vaporetto, you still have the option to take a train. You only need to take a taxi or bus to get to the main railway stations from the airport. With the buses from the airport you can go to the Mestre station in 20-25 minutes and to Santa Lucia station in 35 minutes. Then you can reach the different points of the city by train. It is not a practical and preferred method as you need to change two vehicles with this way.

Taxi

There is a taxi company named "Radio Taxi" at the airport. You can make reservations in advance or take a taxi to the city center or other area upon your arrival. Taxi fare would be around 40 euros to Rome Square, and 35 euros to the center of Mestre from the airport.

Car Rental

You can rent a car from the lower floor of the arrival terminals. Here you can find a total of eight company offices such as Avis, Europcar, Autovia, Autoeuropa, Maggiore, Sixt, Lacauto and Hertz. If you will only be visiting Venice city center, renting a car is not a recommended option, because you cannot take your car to the city center, where you can travel with boats or by foot. If you rent a car from the airport, you need to park it in the parking lot at the Rome Square.

Water Taxi

The water taxi, which is the most elegant and most expensive way of going to the center of Venice from the airport via the canal, is another alternative. When you book in advance, it can be a bit cheaper, but the average prices vary between 80 and 125 euros depending on where you are going.
